Paul Sparkes is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in Finance, Advisory, Capital Markets, Media and Canada’s political arena. Paul spent a decade as a leader and senior executive in the media industry as an executive at CTV globemedia before co- founding a TSX listed specialty finance company and Merchant Bank in 2012. Mr. Sparkes has held senior positions in the public service, including with the government of Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. From 1996 - 2001, he served in the Prime Minister’s Office as director of operations and special assistant for Atlantic Canada. Throughout his vast network and career Mr. Sparkes has helped finance and sourced deals in many sectors in excess of $500 million throughout Europe and North America.
